Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the answers to our most frequently asked questions. If the question/answer does not appear below, please contact us.

Q. Do you charge any sitting fees?
For 2009 we are offering a new "Inclusive Print Session" and a "Portrait Party Inclusive Print Session" - all other sessions are totally free and are on a no obligation to buy basis - we let the photographs speak for themselves!!

Q. Is your portrait service insured?
Yes. We are covered by a Professional Indemnity Insurance policy with Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance PLC for your peace of mind. In addition we also carry full public liability insurance through Chubb Insurance Company Of Europe Limited. Please feel free to ask to inspect our policy documents. Our Staff have all been checked using the Enhanced CRB check.

Q. What happens during the session?
Each session is different though generally upon arrival you can relax with a drink whilst our photographers get to know your little (or big) ones. We play a range of games and really get the children involved in the session. You may want to bring some headache tablets with you - it can get noisy at times as we allow the kids to make as much noise as they want!!!

Q. Can I bring a change of clothing?
Yes. We have no objections to changes of clothes during the session though would like to point out that multiple changes can eat into your session time. We have to be fair to all our clients by making sure start and finish times don't run too far over.

Q. Do you have a private changing area?
Yes. We have a dedicated changing area with a large mirror and over head spot lights.

Q. Do you have toilet facilities?
Yes. We have a private toilet in our Studio.

Q. Do you supply the photographs in frames and mounts?
We offer a range of photographic products, some of which include frames. Further details are available in your online album. Where you purchase a photograph only, small format photographs (6x4, 7x5, 9x6) are supplied with free presentation mounts. Large format photographs are supplied in cardboard tubes or packs without mounts or frames.

Q. Do you belong to any recognised trade organisations?
Yes. We are registered members of the SWPP / BPPA - The Society Of Wedding And Portrait Professionals and British Professional Photographers Associates. To check our membership, simply visit the SWPP website. As members, we adhere to the strict Code Of Conduct and Rules Of Membership. As registered members, we are allowed to use the Association logo on our website and on our literature. In addtion, we are proud members of the Leeds Chamber of Commerce.

Q. Do I have to come back to view my photographs?
No. We have invested in technology that allows you to view your images in the comfort of your own home. Each portrait client is allocated a unique password to access their online album on our website. You may then view your images from home. In addition purchases may be made via our secure online servers using credit or debit cards.

Q. Can we give the password to friends and relatives?
Yes. In the majority of cases, our portrait clients pass on their log in details to family members (especially those abroad) so they may log on and see how the little ones are growing up. It is a great way to allow distant family members to keep in touch.

Q. If we pass our log on details onto family members, can they also buy the photographs?
Yes. We ship worldwide. Our printers charge a small fee for postage and packaging.

Q. Can we turn our photographs into gifts or canvas prints?
Yes. We supply a full range of products from wallet cards to mousemats. We also supply quality canvas prints and acrylics.

Q. How long does it take after our session for the images to be available for viewing?
We generally quote 72 hours though please note that this may increase during our busy periods. You will be given an estimate during your session.

Q. OK, so how do I book a portrait session?
Easy. Simply give us a call on 0113 2295408 and make an appointment.
